Ken Starr Should Not Appear on Television Unless There's Rotten Produce Coming at His Head

Ken Starr Should Not Appear on Television Unless There's Rotten Produce Coming at His Head

As we noted earlier, the Undead of the 1980s have come back to haunt us all. The Undead of the 1990s, of course, never have left. There is proof enough of that in the fact that Ken Starr, leader of that decade's Great Penis Hunt and subsequent neglector of sexual assault claims at Baylor University, is still wandering the landscape in full, noxious bloviation. And, as should be obvious by now, as long as there's a Fox News Channel, there will be a place for Starr to park his fugitive-from-respectability arse and discuss the issues of the day without having to worry about the vengeance of Clio, Muse of History, also known by her Marvel universe name, The Proclaimer (!).

On Wednesday, they uncrated him to discuss the upcoming release of whatever of the Mueller report William Barr hasn't fed to the shredder.

“The concern that I think is a fair concern is, is the report going to be written in a fair and balanced way? It is a concern,” Starr said on “America’s Newsroom” on Wednesday. “Now why the concern? Because of Bob Mueller, who I hold in very high regard, his choice of staff. So many questions have been raised about that staff and their leanings and so forth. And they've had the opportunity without any kind of cross examination, any kind of check, any kind of balance to write whatever they want to write. And that I think legitimately raises concern of fairness and balance.”

This is coming from the guy who threw Susan McDougal in jail because she wouldn't lie for him, and who published every salacious detail he could gather about President Bill Clinton's assignations with Monica Lewinsky because he was encouraged to do so by an ambitious subordinate named Brett Kavanaugh. I think his very presence on television without rotted produce coming at his head legitimately raises concern of our dedication to governing ourselves.

Trump Is Already Proving No One Should Trust Barr
